Ok, this is a two part question. First, If I attack with a Giant Scorpion, and my opponent blocks it with a 6/6 creature and then uses the ability of Hallowed Healer to prevent 2 damage, what would the result of this be?

Second question, if my opponent attacks with a 6/6 creature and I block with a 4/4 creature and a Giant Scorpion, and he uses Hallowed Healer's ability to prevent 2 damage, does he get to choose which damage is prevented? In other words can he choose to prevent the Giant Scorpions damage and thus preventing Deathtouch?
