two convienent combos you could have in mind while drafting.

A) the new mana elf that untaps a forest is great with a forest that has a zendikon on it, the opponent might not notice this abd be blocked.

B) ruin ghost is amazing with lands that have abilities as they come into play. he could combo with the token maker, the +2 power, the +2 life, but best of all the one that gives protection untill end of turn. if you have both in play and you play your cards right, that there should be no reason to loose to anything other than evasion, mass removal or being overwhelmed with creatures or multiple removals.

C) this is less likely but if you get death's shadow you could have it come into play dead and use dead reckoning on it to kill just about anything.

Ruin Ghost is the bomb :) I gained some 10 life with him, abused Admonition Angel and generally had a good time. – ripper234 Feb 1 at 11:55
Ripper is right; in the pre-release he had Ruin Ghost + Kabira Crossroads + Admonition Angel for a very effective "T: exile target whatever and gain 2 life". Made minced meat of me, and many others. – Avish Feb 1 at 12:08

Well, after the pre-release yesterday it seems that black & red are still the dominant colors, (although all the other colors got boost as well)

No doubt that Cunning Sparkmage is a very very good card, and maybe even a 1st pick if u dont got some seriously fat bomb..

Searing Blaze is also very good card to pick.. and also the new blue "mind Control", Vapor snare that is also very nice pick..

Watch out for Nemesis Trap - it's a very deadly trap against white, at uncommon!

I lost an Admonition Angel to this in the pre-release! – ripper234 Feb 11 at 8:07

I maindeck this card when I have it. Even at 4BB, it's a strong card. You can usually turn your opponent's attack into a 2-for-1 where those 2 cards are your opponent's two best creatures. Playing against white is just a bonus! – EndangeredMassa Feb 16 at 17:23

I would argue that since WWK is the last pack, its multikicker cards are very convenient to fill gaps in your mana curve.
