What is the card that your local metagame most underrates in triple-Zendikar drafts? What do you think that the wider MTG consensus underrates most? Do you have any personal stories about drafts where you successfully exploited the underestimation?

I would like to answer this, but I haven't done any Zendikar drafts yet because of a lack of time. I was hoping to this weekend, but now I have to dig myself out of 2 feet of snow. – Calvin Dec 20 at 16:17

From the top of my head, it seems that Savage Silhouette is being under-appreciated. And lately I've learned that Blood Seeker is more valuable than it seems, particularly because it counts toward the cost for Feast of Blood (which in itself is pretty much unplayable outside mono black).

[[Savage Silhouette]] [[Blood Seeker]] [[Feast of Blood]]

I just recently learned to appreciate the unkicked Vines of Vastwood as a shroud-inducer and hence an enchantment/equipment counter (from this draft on DraftBetter):

[[Vines of Vastwood]]

And it seems to me that people never use the red damage-doubling cards -- Quest for Pure Flame and Pyromancer Ascension, but this might actually be justified (I never use them myself although I really always want to).

How is it underrated, it's a first pick. – ripper234 Dec 30 at 5:53
