So as a general inquiry, does anyone think that Jace will keep increasing in value? or is there going to be some sort of peak that if you aren't playing him, you should just get rid of him at? I have one that has been laying around for a while and I don't play him because i stick to standard play and never touch legacy or anything that would allow him in play. So I was wondering if I should just sell him now for a hundred bucks or hang onto him and see if his value goes up any.

I'm not really sure with this card. I thought most of its price bump lately came from speculators buying in case of a Modern unbanning. But the announcement has been made, Jace is still banned and the price has continued to grow (see this chart for reference). However, it seems like the price has stabilized a bit in the last two months.

It's a strange thing, because the card can only be played in Legacy, Vintage and Commander, and is rarely used as a 4-of in neither of those formats (in Commander you only can play one). This would make me think the demand for Jace is not very high.

That said, my personal opinion is you should sell it. The card itself doesn't provide any value to you and I don't think its price will explode anytime soon. It could continue slowly rising, but if you want to speculate with MTG cards, there are much better options than Jace.

That's a very good suggestion. Thank you for the answer. I was thinking about using the money from him to get a booster box of gatecrash or wait and see what kind of cards will be in dragon's maze. But overall I'm still not sure what to do. I may just pocket it for something else lol. Thank you XD
